USB to Serial / RS232 Interface
These USB to SERIAL Interfaces will work with ALL the RS232 (comport) products on this website.

You can use this USB to serial interface with any Kenwood RS232/serial CAT radios by adding a simple 9 pin female to 9 pin male gender changer.
For Yaesu RS232/serial CAT radios, you can use it in conjunction with the appropriate Yaesu CAT CABLE. [see bottom of Yaesu CAT interface page].

USB to Serial (RS232) Interface.

Can be used with ANY of the interfaces on this site or with ANY of the serial cables on this site to provide a USB CAT connection or USB programming connection. ALL our RS232 interfaces will work with ALL PC and laptop comports as well as these USB to serial interfaces.
Note that there are many USB to serial interfaces available that simply do not conform fully to the RS232 specifications and don't supply correct rs232 levels. They may appear to function fine with most equipment but fail when connected to equipment requiring a fully spec'd interface.
If you have problems using your own USB to serial interface cables with our products then its most likely that you have either a faulty or inferior interface cable.
These USB to serial interfaces conform fully to the rs232 spec and provide the correct levels via these lines. And are recommended for use with ALL RS232 devices that we provide where a USB to serial interface is also required.
