STANDARD CI-V Interface for ANY and ALL CI-V Icoms
This
STANDARD interface is ALL you need for CAT control with
ANY Icom radio that has CAT support. The surface mount
interface is built into the RS232 comport connector
shell. Nothing extra is required. (except your radio
and your PC - download Ham Radio Deluxe FREE using the
link in the menu). This interface replaces and does
everything that the original RS232 CT17 does at a fraction
of the cost. If you need a USB CAT interface,
then use this with a USB to serial interface. A 2 meter
USB to serial interface is also available.

For
use with the ICR-20. CAT / CI-V.
Works with ALL PC's and laptops with a 9 pin RS232 comport
or with a USB to serial cable. The ICR20's CAT socket also
acts as an external speaker socket. When you insert the 3.5mm
CI-V cable the audio from the radio is cut off. As well as
CAT, the radio connector on this interface also obtains the
audio from the radio. This is connected to the PC's sound
input via a 3.5mm jack. This allows you to decode those digimodes
using your software.
