The
DigiMaster PRO - A  Concept
in DATA mode interfaces and you saw it here first !
Note:
Unlike the simpler SB2000 which uses a single channel USB device (FTDI
232), the DigiMaster PRO interface uses a DUAL USB device (FTDI 2232)
to give you 2 totally independent virtual comports. One virtual comport
is used for PTT / CW / DATA, whilst the second virtual comport is used
exclusively for CAT control. When you use the DigiMaster PRO, you can
use whatever CAT software you wish to use, AND, at the same time use whatever
afsk DATA software you want to use. For example, when using the DigiMaster
PRO, you can use HRD for CAT control (or your own favourite CAT software)
while at the very same time use EasyPal or MMSTV or MixW (or your own
favourite DATA software) for DATA, no problem. You can't do that with
the SB2000.
Designed
to fits all your needs. You can start with a basic version of the interface
and upgrade it at a later stage or simply change the plug in modules as
your needs change. The modular design of the DigiMaster PRO allows you
to select or change the functionality of your DigiMaster PRO Interface.
From straight forward high performance DATA interface to high performance
DATA interface with built in USB CAT with support for Icom / Yaesu / Kenwood,
support for TTL or RS232, it's probably the only interface you will ever
need. And when using the CM1 module you also have support for programming
those other VHF/UHF radios in your shack.

Hi

The
right way to do it all. With you decide that you need together in
the one interface. Performance second to none, with professional
quality isolating transformers in both RX and TX lines. Giving cleaner
and clearer RX and TX signals, with no risk of receiving or worse,
transmitting any "hum". Low power consumption makes it
ideal for laptops as well as desktop PC's. For use with ALL afsk
DATA software including, HRD, DM780, MixW, DigiPan, WSJT, etc. Unleash
the full power of programs like the Ham Radio Deluxe suite and MixW
etc.
Sturdy
aluminum case, approx. case size of 80mm wide, 30mm high, 120mm
deep.
On/off
switch and red/green led for RX/TX.
The CW lead, USB and audio leads are supplied as standard.
The CW lead is fitted with a standard 3.5mm jack. If you radio needs
a 1/4" CW jack then you will need an adapter.
Not
only can you changes leads if you change your radio, but now you
can even change / upgrade the functionality of the interface to
match your latest radio / requirements. All modules are available
separately.

To
make your selections:
Select the modules you require and add them to your "basket".
Obviously, your selections will reflect your needs and also to match the
radio.
You can add / delete and change items in your PayPal basket at any time.
You will see a "running total" in your basket and you will also
see the shipping costs before you finalise your purchase.

The modular design of the interface makes it very flexible and because

Select the DigiMaster PRO Interface.
[2] Select the DATA lead to suit your radio.
Note: If your radio supports Digi-Vox, (such as the FT857 and FT897) and
you already have a CAT interface then this is all you need.
Many Icom radios will also accept DATA via the acc socket when TX ing
via the CAT system (IC746, IC756 pro3).
[3] Select your USB module. - USB1 (single channel does not support CAT,
whereas the dual channel USB2 does support CAT).
If you selected the single channel "USB1" module then you are
complete.
And you will have 3 items in your basket.
Continue
with steps 4 and 5 only If you selected the "USB2" DUAL channel
USB module.
[4] Select your optional CM[x] CAT module to suit your radio.
[5] Select the appropriate CAT lead to suit your radio your radio.
You will now have 5 items in your basket.

need the "barebones" interface onto which you
simply plug your selection of optional modules to suit your
requirements. The barebones interface has the PTT relay,
CW opto isolator, and isolating ransformers. Also supplied
are all the leads to connect to the PC.

PRO to your radio.

single channel USB module is based on FTDI's 232RL chip,
which gives you a single comport for control of the interfaces
PTT and CW functions. The single channel USB module provides
the DigiMaster PRO interface the ability to operate all
afsk DATA modes and CW. It does not provide CAT capability.

The
dual channel USB module is based on FTDI's popular 2232
USB chip which gives the interface 2 comports. The first
comport gives you the interfaces PTT and CW lines. The second
comport is used exclusively for the CAT interface section
(CM[x] module). As the 2 comports are fully independent
of each other, this gives you the ability to use whatever
DATA mode software you wish to use, whilst at the same time
allows you to use whatever CAT software you wish to use,
(provided that the CAT software you intend to use will support
your radio of course).
