The DigiMaster PRO
(plus)
Dual channel DATA and CAT interface
Unleash the FULL power of Ham Radio Deluxe!
and other CAT and DATA software inc MixW etc.
Extremely
popular, this interface has become our best selling interface
by far !
Supports
ALL data modes psk, rtty, etc, afsk and fsk with built
in CAT interface.
Note that this interface can also be used with the "Y4"
cable (available separately) which connects CAT via the
FT857's and FT897's mic socket, so allowing FT857 and
FT897users to continue using the CAT/LINEAR/TUNER socket
for your ATU or other equpment.
Hi
performance USB DATA and CAT interface.
All
you need together in the one interface. Performance second
to none, with professional quality isolating transformers
in both RX and TX lines. Giving cleaner and clearer RX
and TX signals, with no risk of receiving or worse, transmitting
any "hum". Low power consumption makes it ideal
for laptops as well as desktop.
For use with ALL AFSK and FSK DATA software including,
HRD, DM780, MixW, DigiPan, N1MM, WSJT, etc.
Unleash the full power of programs like the Ham Radio
Deluxe suite and MixW etc.
Because
its dual channel, you can use your favourite CAT software
at the same time as your favourite DATA mode software,
eg, HRD CAT software and DigiPan PSK software (just one
example).
Sturdy
aluminum case, approx. case size of 80mm wide, 45mm high,
120mm deep.
On/off switch and red/green led for RX/TX.
Front panel TX and RX drive level adjustment.
The channel interface based on FTDI's popular 2232 USB
chip, gives the interface 2 comports. The first comport
gives you control over the interfaces PTT, CW, and TXD
(fsk standard polarity) lines. The second comport being
used exclusively for the CAT interface section. As the
2 comports are fully independent of each other, this gives
you the ability to use whatever DATA mode software you
wish to use, whilst at the same time, you to use whatever
CAT software you wish to use, (provided that the CAT software
you intend to use will support your radio of course).
Leads to PC are approx 1.8m length and leads from interface
to radio are approx 0.8m length.
The CAT interface section is a plug in module that is
available in 3 versions;
[1] CM1 - TTL CAT. (plus supports Y4 cable for CAT via
mic on FT857 and FT897).
For all Icom the CIV radios and also the Yaesu radios
that use a CAT interface, including many of the older
Yaesu radios using either 6 pin din, 6 pin mini din, 8
pin mini din.
The CM1 also supports radio programming and has the same
functionality as the DigiMaster MultiFace
and so any MultiFace lead can also be used with the CM1
module.
[2] CM2 - Inverted TTL for the older Kenwoods TS450(s)
and TS850(s) Esc that use the 6 pin din socket..
[3] CM3 - RS232 for those radios that use a serial cable.
The CW lead, USB and audio leads are supplied as standard.
The AFSK lead to the radio is included as per your selection
of radio (below), wherever possible, (most Icom and Kenwood
radios) the afsk lead will also be wired for FSK. However,
many Yaesu radios need a separate FSK
cable which is available as an extra optional extra.
The CW lead is fitted with a standard 3.5mm jack. If you
radio needs a 1/4" CW jack then you will need an
adapter.
If
your radio is not in the list you will need to purchase
the interface and its data and cat cables separately,
or eMail us and we will either add your radio to the list
or offer you a quote. (Quotes are valid for 7 days).
To
utilize FSK your radio needs to support FSK (RTTY) and
some radios (mainly Yaesu with 4 pin RTTY socket and several
others inc the TS480 / TS950) may require a second / special
FSK lead (purchased
separately here) to operate FSK.
