Hi performance, fully isolated USB DATA interface.
The right way to do it all.
Isolated DATA mode Interface for PSK RTTY PSK SSTV and ALL other afsk audio-DATA modes. Supports ALL afsk data modes inc etc.
For whatever afsk DATA software you use. HRD, MixW, DigiPan etc.

The dual channel interface has one channel dedicated to controlling the data interface and CW. The other channel is used for CAT control.
The advantage here is that you can use your favorite CAT software to control your radio, while using different digimode software for your digital communications at the same time ! So, you can run Ham Radio Deluxe for radio control and MixW2 for your digimodes, or other combinations, from the one interface.
A PC with a powered USB port is required.
Designed to work with ALL audio impedance input/output radios.
Unlike some manufacturers interfaces these units offer full isolation in both TX and RX lines using professional quality fully encapsulated 600 ohm data transformers.
PTT can be via the "rts" line provided on channel A's virtual comport or via your radios CAT system.
CW is via channel A's "dtr" line provided on channel A.
The CAT is on channel B.
This unit's CAT section supports Icom, Yaesu, and Kenwood CAT interfaces (not RS232).
Because of the Kenwood CAT support, it does not support programming of non CAT radios.
However ALL CAT enabled radios can be programmed via the built in CAT interface.
A 6 pin mini din socket on the unit has connections for Audio in / out / audio gnd / PTT / chassis gnd. And a 3.5mm jack socket on the unit is provided for the CAT connection to the radio.
Internal jumper selection for Icom and Yaesu [one position] or Kenwood CAT [other position].
A PC with a powered USB port is required.
This item is supplied as the unit and all PC connecting leads.

Radio Connecting Leads
You will also need a radio audio-data connecting lead to connect the interface unit to your radio. These are available separately or use the wiring info on the radio leads page to make your own.

Icom and Yaesu CAT leads for these units are available Here.
Depending on your radio make/model, ICC01, ICC02, YCC01, YCC02, YCC03 and Y4 leads are suitable CAT leads. The other programming leads on the MultiFace page are not suitable for this interface.
If you want to run the FT857 or FT897 CAT via the mic socket and use an adapter so that you can still use the mic. Which then leaves the 8 pin CAT/LINEAR/TUNER socket free for other equipment. Select the Y4 cable

Please note that the Kenwoods ability to use CAT depends on what if any Kenwood optional extras are required or have been fitted to your radio.
